The Law Offices of Kevin Gres is spearheaded by Kevin Gres. A graduate of Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business and Southwestern Law School’s SCALE and TAHP programs, Kevin has practiced criminal law in California since 2012.

The firm concentrates in criminal defense, representing individuals and corporations accused of or under investigation for white collar and other crimes. Representative cases range from white collar matters, such as tax, medical, and credit card fraud, to, state felony and misdemeanor cases, like attempted murder, extortion, theft, spousal abuse, DUI, fraud, and assault with a deadly weapon.

In addition to ongoing criminal matters and investigations, Kevin specializes in post-conviction remedial law. This includes expungements, early terminations of probation, certificates of rehabilitation, petitions to seal and destroy arrest records, and felony reductions to misdemeanors.

Before opening his own firm, Kevin was a criminal prosecutor and trial lawyer with the City of Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Culver City, Downy, Norwalk, Bellflower and Cudahy, among others.

Since opening his own firm in the heart of Los Angeles, Kevin has continued to defend significant criminal cases. Kevin has represented former athletic standouts, comedians, reality star personalities, and other individuals involved in high profile criminal cases.  As a criminal defense attorney with a background in municipal law, municipalities such as Manhattan Beach and South El Monte retain the Law Offices of Kevin Gres when confronted with criminal enforcement policy issues.

Additionally, Kevin serves as a regular guest lecturer at the John Jay school of Criminal Justice in New York City among other CUNY schools. In this role, Kevin lectures about the criminal justice system as it relates to sociology, penology, and victimology. Moreover, Kevin provides criminal law related MCLE lectures, that cover emerging areas of criminal law and growing trends. Kevin has been featured on the radio, and on camera, as the chief legal advisor for a sports documentary currently in production.

Kevin is also one of ten individuals appointed to serve on the Advisory Board of Project Tikvah, a nationally recognized organization that specifically addresses recidivism of young adults struggling with addiction and mental health issues.

When Kevin is not in the office or in court, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, basketball, and reading.
